New 12,000 capacity venue: the Spaladium Arena in Split

A 12,000 capacity venue, which is located in the coastal city of Split, has officially opened in Croatia. Featuring eight luxury suites, 500 club box seats, an additional practice facility and two club lounges, the collaboration now hopes to make the arena the premier site for sports and entertainment in Croatia.

Phil Mead, Director of Arenas, The NEC Group said he was delighted with the successful launch of the groundbreaking venue. He said: “Global Spectrum Europe is now working hard to use its established promoter’s contacts to bring in high profile acts to the city for the first time and put The Spaladium firmly on the European touring circuit.

“With over 30 years of experience to bring to the project we want to cement The Spaladium’s reputation as an important and popular attraction that will welcome thousands to the region and bolster the vital economic impact on the city.
He added: “With the joint expertise of The NEC Group and Global Spectrum Ltd in this collaboration, we will provide visitors to The Spaladium with nothing less than an outstanding audience experience.”
