It is with great satisfaction that the HCCE welcomes its first Spanish member, Guardia de Corps Conference and Convention Centre located in the Castilian city of Segovia (World Heritage Site). HCCE membership keeps growing progressively, making Parador de La Granja its 28th member in 14 European countries.
"Due to the great boost experienced by the cultural tourism in Spain in recent years, we believe that our union with the Historic Conference Centres of Europe will broaden our horizons and help us catch the attention of visitors worldwide interested in this type of distinctive and unique venues" Eduardo Olle Tena, Director of "Parador de La Granja" confidently remarked. "It is a great pleasure to welcome once again a new member centre into the HCCE network" declared Michael Sharp, President of the Historic Conference Centres of Europe. "Our first member centre in Spain, Guardia de Corps Conference and Convention Centre will be ideal for meeting planners in search of locations that link the old with the new".

Rich architectural heritage

Guardia de Corps Conference and Convention Centre can hold up to 600 guests in theatre style in its "Salón La Granja" with a total surface of 532 m². There are 16 meeting rooms in total of different dimensions which offer a wide range of possibilities for hosting all kinds of events. All rooms receive natural daylight and are pillar-free. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

One hour from Madrid by AVE

Guardia de Corps Conference and Convention Centre is part of the government-owned organization "Paradores" and the hotel complex "Parador de La Granja" which comprises two different buildings: "Casa de los Infantes", constructed in the 18th century by Charles III of Spain, where the hotel is located and "Cuartel General de la Guarda de Corps" (Headquarters of the Royal Guard), nowadays converted into a modern conference and convention centre.

The whole complex is located less than one hour away from Madrid and ideally connected by highway and the modern High Speed Train (AVE).
