Rotana expands into the meeting & incentive market

The MICE business is an increasing segment throughout Rotana properties and destinations in the Middle East. The approximate current percentage of MICE business is 12% in Egypt, 14% in Abu Dhabi and 25% in Dubai.
This segment is tremendously increasing and the destination is certainly playing a big role in this increase, which is encouraging Rotana to further focus on this segment by some new openings as well:

°°° New openings in Abu Dhabi

• Khalidiya Palace Rotana Resort is due to open during 2009. The property will have 400 luxurious rooms, suites and serviced apartments, outstanding food and beverage venues, six meeting rooms, business facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and extensive watersport activities on one of the country's most stunning beaches.

• Park Rotana will feature 550 rooms and suites and 150 apartments, plus office space. The hotel will have an excellent choice of restaurants, meeting rooms and leisure & fitness facilities.

• Amwaj Rotana is located on Jumeirah beach and will be part of the new Jumeirah Beach Residence complex. The property will consist of 301 deluxe rooms and suites, flexible and multipurpose ballroom, meeting rooms and state-of-the-art fitness facilities.

• Media Rotana, Barsha will be a four-star plus, deluxe hotel located at the heart of Dubai's business hub. Media Rotana, Barsha will offer 467 rooms and suites, a vast array of food and beverage venues and flexible, state of the art meeting rooms and business services. Guests wishing to keep fit during their stay will be able to take advantage of the Bodylines fitness centre with professional instructors, as well as the private swimming pool, sauna, steam room and massage services.

• City Centre Rotana, part of the City Centre Mega Mall, offers 400 luxurious rooms and suites, a wide variety of restaurants, 1000m2 ballroom, four meeting rooms, business centre and a Bodylines fitness centre with swimming pool.

• The Cove Rotana Resort will be located near Ras Al Khaimah beachfront overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The resort will offer 175 rooms complemented by 173 real estate units of one, two and three bedroom villas & chalets, three fully-equipped and flexible meeting rooms, 600m of private beach, Bodylines fitness centre, tennis and squash courts.
