IFEMA, Madrid's number one venue

Madrid is a household name in ICCA's yearly conference destination rankings – it is always in the top 10. Not surprising at all, since the Spanish capital indeed is a great place for conference delegates to spend some leisure time after conference, and organisers find a multitude of great hotels and venues. The number one venue is IFEMA: trade fairs, shareholders´meetings, sporting events, car clinics, civil service exams, everything is possible in the Feria de Madrid´s 12 halls.

What does IFEMA offer?

• The venue boasts 200,000 square metres spread over 12 halls and two Convention and Congress Centres.

• IFEMA is located in the northeast area of the city. The underground connects the venue with the heart of the city and with the Airport in only 10 min.

• The North Convention and Congress Centre possesses 18 rooms located on one floor. It is reached through a great entrance hall filled with natural light, whose size makes it the ideal space for exhibitions of up to 468 sq.m. or for providing catering services. Rooms N101 to N106 are multi-purpose allowing the hosting of events from 100 to 1,800 people. Joined together, N103 and N104 comprise the North Auditorium, which holds 1,100 people. The remaining rooms (N107 to N118), with capacities from 10 to 200 people, may be paired to adapt better to the needs of the event.

• Located closer to public transport, the South Convention and Congress Centre boasts an Auditorium which can host 600 people. The spacious entrance hall leading to the Auditorium is the perfect space for cocktails and coffee breaks.

• For larger scale meetings and congresses, IFEMA offers clients their Exhibition Halls. The use of Hall 9 or Hall 10 in combination with the North Convention and Congress Centre is the adequate location for such events.

• The offer of space for meetings at Feria de Madrid is completed with 45 Hall Rooms which are adequate as working rooms and for small meetings.
