Recently, the new Terminal E has been inaugurated serving 13 million passengers arriving and departing, on a 46 million total foreseen for the next year.

Subway is made up of three main lines, but public transportation in Rome can count on a urban rail network which allows passengers to move within the city and other small towns of the Province. Furthermore, it is possible to take outdoor trips, to the sea or the countryside or to Florence, Siena, Naples which are reachable in two hours.
