The largest hotel-conference centres newly opened in the Olympic Capital

Known as the Olympic capital, as well as being a centre for excellence in innovation and research, Lausanne boasts over 6,000 beds in 60 hotels including 5 star accommodation.

After a lavish refurbishment, The Royal Savoy is to re-open this autumn. This 5* business & historical hotel in the centre of the city will offer a 1200sqm Banquets & Conferences facility, to include 5 meeting rooms, a 269sqm Salon Royal and an impressive ballroom with a 574sqm area seating up to 485 guests.

This March the 3* superior Aquatis Hotel has opened its doors with 143 rooms, restaurant, conference centre (5 meeting rooms for up to 300 pax) and exceptional access to the city centre of Lausanne. Part of the venue will also feature the Swiss Museum of Water, the biggest freshwater aquarium which will open in 2016 and offer a new alternative for events. The new hotel and aquarium complex is the latest in the portfolio owned by Boas Swiss Hotels, a group of 10 hotels in the western regions of Switzerland.

These two fantastic conference-hotels will offer the biggest meeting rooms in the Lausanne area. The Royal Savoy and the Aquatis will offer a whole new dimension for meetings and events with all the necessary facilities on-site and the city centre just a very short ride on the metro.
